Landscape and Pool Contractors

We get inquiries on a regular basis from landscape and pool contractors looking to add a new product or revenue stream to their existing business.  We would like to take a minute and explain our position on this.

We have seen over the past 10 years many people come and go in the artificial turf business.  We have seen companies put their worst performing sales person in the role of turf salesman.  We have seen half-hearted marketing efforts based on their experience with their current business.  Companies have taken on turf projects and we have been hired to clean them up.  Most scenarios you can imagine have occurred to us over the past decade.

Now we would like to share with you some of our experiences of how other companies have been successful adding artificial turf to their business.  First of all they have not added anything to their current business; they have started an entirely new business with a new phone number, new signage and put the most successful people in their current business in the new one until it was off life support and running on its own.

IntelliTurf is based in Atlanta, Georgia and we work all the time with landscape companies that are not interested in getting into our business when they can contract us to do the turf portion of the installation.  We create work for landscape companies.  Retaining walls, irrigation work, new plantings are just a few ways we add to their bottom line.  How can you partner with other companies in your community if you are in the exact same business as they are?  Step out of the box and see that your current competitors may just be your best source of business if you provide them with a service that is not threatening and is beneficial.

One question all business owners get is:  If you had to it to do all over again would you have started your business?  Most would answer no.  The US Department of Commerce puts the failure rate of an independent business at 80% after 10 years while the same study shows franchising at a success rate of 90%.   Ask most franchisee’s the same question and you may get a different answer.

As a business owner you don’t have the time and energy to start all over again, IntelliTurf puts you on third base with a great tool box filled with the knowledge, processes and systems we have developed over the past 10 years.  Many of these are similar to your current business and many are not.

Remember what your first few years were like starting your current company; we can help eliminate many of those issues.

If you think we have made some sense, we would like to invite you to explore the rest of our franchise site and contact us about how we can develop your Artificial Turf market together.  Many answers to your questions including the investment and the actual value IntelliTurf brings to your business can be found on these pages.

We look forward to helping you make your next venture every bit the success your current business provides.

Market domination is our stated strategy; not just a new product line.
